Network Services / Installation Rates Change / Terms and Condition

Sold units – up to 2 hours of IT installation for initial on-site setup. Additional time after the first 2 hours or after the first on- site visit will be billed at $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour. Subject to Sales Department inclusion of cost on sales order.

Stand-alone units – USB or parallel connection. 1 workstation installed at no charge. Sharing the device to additional workstation will be billed at $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour. Subject to Sales Department inclusion of cost on sales order.

Software packages sold by JD Young – additional charges may apply.

EFI/Fiery units – software will be installed on the primary user’s workstation only. Additional workstations can be installed for an additional fee of $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour.

Calibration – graphics color calibration available upon request and billable at $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour.

Connectivity Warranty
JD Young warrants the connectivity for 30 days. In any instance, even within the 30 days, if the customer updates the operating system, upgrades the network server, changes the internet service provider, wi-fi password, user account password, email password, and/or purchases a new workstation, then requiring additional service(s) connecting the printer device, these services will be billed at a rate of $125/hour with a minimum of 1 hour.

Software Acknowledgment and Release
Customer acknowledges that it requests JD Young to install software or hardware products on computer hardware, network hardware and network software. Customer acknowledges that JD Young has no knowledge or control over the type of software currently on the customer’s computer or the environment in which it operates. Some software may contain configurations which are incompatible with the products. Customer acknowledges that because of these factors, there are risks associated with the installation of the products including, without limitation, the risk that data on the computer may be damaged or deleted.

Customer acknowledges that it is the responsibility of the customer, prior to installation or service of products, to back up all data contained on the computer which the customer deems necessary. If any data is damaged or deleted, customer is responsible for restoring such data to the computer.

AUTHORIZE NETWORK INSTALLATION:
Customer agrees for JD Young to install purchased devices on their network. Installation services will be confined specifically to the items marked and information provided herein.

DECLINE NETWORK INSTALLATION:
I decline JD Young’s assistance for network connectivity and basic configuration of printing and scanning functions. A charge of $125/hour will apply for such services if they are requested after original installation.
